The field has grown to over 50 entries through the opening two levels of Day 1. Registration will remain open until the start of Day 2 with an unlimited number of reentries. The players are now going on their first 15-minute break of the day.

With the completed board showing J♣7♦3♣A♥K♥, Qian Xiong in the big blind bet 20,000 into a pot of around 33,000. Sean Ooi on the button raised it up to 90,000 and Xiong used one time bank before she called. Ooi revealed the Q♣10♦ for broadway and won a very healthy pot.

Taylor Black opened to 2,500 in early position and was called by Jieming Xu on the button. Sean Ooi three-bet to 12,500 from the big blind and Black made it 30,000 to go. Xu quickly folded but Ooi called as they went heads-up to a flop of K♥4♣2♥.
Ooi checked to Black who made a small bet of 10,000 and Ooi called. The K♠ paired the board on the turn and both players checked to the Q♣ on the river. Two more checks and Ooi tabled 9♠9♣ which Black was unable to beat.

Mauricio Salazar Sanchez entered the fray and so did Anton Lu, while Gavin has become the first re-entry of the tournament. The clock now shows 50 entries with 49 players remaining and gradually grows once in a while.

The action started with an under-the-gun raise to 2,500 by Calvin Lee and Gavin three-bet to 6,500 in the next seat. Dan "Jungleman" Cates reraised to 15,000 and Toan Chan Truong called in the small blind. Lee also called the four-bet before Gavin five-bet to 106,500. Cates quickly called and the other two players folded.
Following the J♦4♥3♦ flop, Gavin bet 61,000 with 50,000 behind and instantly called all-in when Cates jammed on him.

The Q♥ turn and 4♦ river failed to keep Gavin in the mix and Cates vividly declared "Jungleman" while glancing down on his phone.

Daniel Cates raised to 2,500 in the cutoff and Toan Chan Truong defended from the big blind. The flop came 8♠3♦2♣ and Truong check-called a bet of 3,000 from Cates.
The 3♣ paired the board on the turn and Truong check-called another bet of 8,000 from Cates. The A♥ landed on the river and Truong checked again. Cates tossed in a bet of 25,000 and Truong snapped him off. Cates rolled over 5♠3♠ for trip threes and raked in the pot.

Three ways to the 8♣7♣4♣ flop, Benson Su bet 5,000 and Vietnam's Toan Chan Truong called. Calvin Lee on the button then raised to 25,000 and Su quickly folded. Truong gave it some thought and sent the cards into the muck as well.
After the hand finished, Bin Leng sat down between Su and Truong and Ivan Zhang jokingly asked if he can swap seats with him.

Lei Yu and Jumiao She were heads-up in a three-bet pot with around 30,000 in the middle going to the flop of K♣4♥2♣. Yu led out with a bet of 9,000 from the big blind and She called from the cutoff.
The turn brought the 7♦ and Yu flicked in a bet of 25,000. She still called and the 8♦ completed the board. Yu went over his alotted 30 seconds before making a bet of 86,000 on the river. She spent some time in the tank as well but ultimately decided to send her cards to the muck.

Renji Mao raised to 2,500 on the button and Calvin Lee three-bet to 12,000 from the small blind. Mao responded with a four-bet to 30,000 and Lee just called. The flop fell K♠10♦8♣ and Lee check-called a bet of 21,000 from Mao.
The 3♣ peeled off on the turn and Lee checked again. Mao counted out a bet of 60,000 and that proved to be enough to force Lee out of the hand.
