Three ways with 9,500 each invested to the A♠J♦8♥ flop, Jumiao She bet 8,500 out of the small blind. Initial preflop raiser Lei Yu folded from an early position while Haohui Ma called on the button. The 6♠ followed on the turn and She bet 22,000 to take down the pot right there without any resistance.
Ivan Zhang raised to 5,000 in early position and picked up three callers along the way. The flop came Q♥10♥6♣ and Zhang continued with a bet of 7,000 which was called by Julian Warhurst on his left and Kaihua Liu in the small blind.
The 7♣ landed on the turn and the action checked to Warhurst who bet 30,000. Both Liu and Zhang called as the 3♥ peeled off on the river. Liu checked again and Zhang took over the betting lead with a bet of 110,000. Both Warhurst and Liu spent some time in the tank but both players eventually decided to fold.
Zhang flashed his 6♥5♥ for a small flush and was disappointed that neither of his opponents called. "You have two pair, you have two pair. Nobody call. You guys play too good, go home!" Zhang shouted with a laugh.
On a heads-up turn of J♥10♠7♠A♦, Gavin bet 30,000 and Dapeng Wang called to see the 4♦ on the river. Both players now checked and Gavin tabled his J♠8♠. Wang had that beat with the A♠9♠ and another spade would have been brutal for Gavin on the second bullet. "Tight player," he grinned.
Christian Harder and Yunkyu Song went heads-up to a flop of 10♣5♣2♠ and Harder started with a check. Song tossed in a bet on his left and Harder check-raised to 37,000. Song called and the 6♠ landed on the turn.
Both players checked and the 5♠ rolled off on the river. Harder announced a bet of 46,000 and Song matched him. Harder turned over J♠J♥ and Song knuckled the table as he conceded the pot.
There are currently 66 players out of 70 entries remaining and Toan Chan Truong as well as James Mendoza re-entered after they had been previously eliminated. The same also applied for Yuzhu Wang, while several other Chinese VIP players have entered the fray.
Picking up the action on the turn with the board reading Q♦J♠5♠5♣, Gary Thompson made a bet of 15,000 into a pot of around 40,000. Charles Chao raised to 32,000 on the button and Thompson called.
The J♣ double-paired the board on the river and Thompson checked. Chao splashed in a bet of 100,000 and Thompson burned through multiple time banks before making the call. Chao flipped over K♣J♦ for a full house and Thompson mucked his cards.
Mauricio Salazar Sanchez raised it up on the button and Taylor Black defended from the big blind. The flop came Q♠9♥3♣ and Black check-called a bet of 3,000 from Salazar Sanchez.
The 9♦ paired the board on the turn and both players checked to the J♠ on the river. Black checked once more and Salazar Sanchez fired out a bet of 12,000. Black looked him up and Salazar Sanchez showed 10♣8♦ for a straight to scoop the pot.

The cards were on their back already and Yuzhu Wang was at risk in a duel of shorter stacks against Chenghui Song. With the turn showing K♥Q♣7♥9♦, Song had taken the lead with the straight holding the J♣10♥ and Wang could only chop with his K♠10♦ if he were to hit another jack.
However, the 2♥ river was a blank and Wang departed.
