Baime: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Gifford: {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

Gifford was drawing dead after the turn when the board came {2-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}, and the last woman in contention bowed out in 11th.

Zimcosky, Hamad Spar in Blinds

Level 18 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

Brian Zimcosky opened to 50,000 in the small blind, and Fadi Hamad defended. Zimcosky fired 65,000 on the {5-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop, and Hamad made the call. A {5-Hearts} made trips on the board, and Zimcosky bet 85,000. Hamad raised to approximately 100,000 more, and Zimcosky quickly announced all in. Just as fast, Hamad's cards were in the muck.

Quads > Full

Level 18 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

George Dietz shoved all in for 197,000, and Allen Lanier made the call. Everyone else folded.

Dietz: {a-}{10-}
Lanier: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

More than a few gasps were heard when the flop came {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}, giving Dietz trips but Lanier a boat. The {9-Hearts} turn improved Lanier to quads, while the {10-Spades} river cruelly filled Dietz to top full house.

Vang Scoops Biggest Pot of Tournament

Level 18 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante
Kou just won the biggest pot we've seen here in Indiana.
Kou just won the biggest pot we've seen here in Indiana.

Allen Lanier opened for 37,000 in early position and found two callers: Kou Vang on the button and Charlie Sizemore in the big blind.

After the {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop, action checked to Vang, who bet 49,000. Sizemore shoved all in for 170,000 total, and Lanier contemplated for a bit before calling. Vang then shipped all in for 401,000 more, and Lanier tanked for a couple of minutes before sliding forward calling chips once more.

Lanier: {j-}{10-}
Vang: {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
Sizemore: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Vang's set was leading, but Lanier still had outs with his open-ender. A {5-Hearts} turn opened the door for Sizemore to grab the pot if the river was a heart, but the {j-Clubs} bricked off for everyone, and Vang became the first player to reach seven figures.

Simon "Better Lucky Than Good"

Level 18 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante
John Simon made a one-card flush.
John Simon made a one-card flush.

Mike Deis opened for 40,000 on the button, and John Simon made it 80,000 in the small blind. The big blind shoved all in for 129,000, and Deis folded.

"Well, I don't think I can fold," Simon said, making the call.

Simon: {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Big blind: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

An {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop pushed Simon from dominated to leading with his pair and flush draw. A {2-Diamonds} turn sealed it, and a {j-Hearts} was the final community card.

"Well, you know what they say," Simon said. "Better lucky than good."
