Greiner Pushes on Argiero, Argiero Folds Best Hand

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Timothy Greiner and Carmin Argiero were heads up and looking at a board of {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{5-Hearts}. According to Greiner the he check-raised the flop to 50,000 and Argiero tank called. When the turn hit Greiner shoved all in for his remaining 143,000 into a pot of about 150,000. Argiero struggled with his decision for a while.

"I'm sorry guys, I got a monster," said Argiero standing up. He took another minute to finally fold his hand face up. He slapped {a-}{q-} on the table to show top pair top kicker.

Greiner wasted no time flipping over {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for top pair with a worse kicker.

"Oooooooooo!" Argiero let out, "my read was right, good bet."
