Yeary Doubles Through Harder

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Christopher Yeary opened to 1,500 in early position and got three-bet to 4,000 by Christian Harder. Yeary called, and the two saw a {4-Clubs}{5-Spades}{6-Spades} flop heads up. Yeary bet 6,500, and Harder quickly put him all in. Yeary called for about 10,000 more with {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}, but he trailed Harder's {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}. A {9-Diamonds} turn was a blank, but Yeary got there on the {7-Clubs} river.

Eisele Takes Mostafa's Place

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Jason Eisele bet 4,500 from the big blind on a board of {5-Clubs}{9-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}, and chip leader Mohamed Mostafa made it 15,000. Eisele thought a bit before shoving all in, and Mostafa asked for a count. It was 58,300, and he slid in the requisite chips after sighing and thinking awhile.

Mostafa: {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Eisele: {j-Hearts}{8-Spades}

Mostafa needed a queen or a nine, having run into a straight, and the board did pair on the river, but it was the {10-Diamonds}.

Choe Triples Up

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Minho Choe limped in from early position, and Blake Bohn made it 1,800. A player in the blinds called, and Choe shoved for 3,700. That didn't get anyone out, but Bohn and the third player checked down the {k-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} board. Choe showed {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and nobody could beat it.

Ohana Takes a Beat

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

After a bunch of players limped, a player in late position shoved all in for about 8,500, and Gabriel Ohana isolated with a raise to 18,000 in the blinds. Everyone else folded, and Ohana's {a-}{k-} had his opponent's {k-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} dominated. Ohana looked poised to score the knockout as the board came {8-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}, but a {5-Spades} river saved his opponent.

Players are on break for 10 minutes.

"At Least I Went Out in Style"

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante
John Qreitem
John Qreitem

Mohamed Mostafa just busted John Qreitem on a {j-}{6-}{6-} flop, ending the roller coaster run of Qreitem, who was down to about 2,500 early on and then had around 50,000 recently. Qreitem had flopped jacks full, but amazingly, they were no good as Mostafa flopped quad sixes.

"At least I went out in style," Qreitem said as he exited the table.

Gilliam Doubles Through Qreitem

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

John Qreitem bet 5,000 into a pot already containing about 13,000 after the turn made the board {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}. One player tank-folded, but Jon Gilliam shoved for 13,625. Qreitem called.

"Chop it up," someone said.

Qreitem: {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Gilliam: {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

"Don't chop it yet," someone else observed, seeing Gilliam had a freeroll with the diamonds. He got there as the {k-Diamonds} gave him a winning flush on the river.

"Good hand, man," Qreitem said.
