, and this is where the war began. The big blind checked, Gutfreund bet 925, and the cutoff called. With action on the button, he raised to 2,000 and at this point the big blind decided to fold.
Gutfreund called the 2000. But when it was back on the player in the cutoff, he raised to 6,000. After thinking for a moment, the player on the button opted to cut his losses and folded his hand. Gutfreund reraised to 18,500, the cutoff shoved all-in, and Gutfreund quickly called.
