Reichard Survives

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Brett Reichard
Brett Reichard

Brett Reichard got the last of his 130,000-chip stack in with {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} versus Ric Cacho on {7-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

Neither hit anything on the {10-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades}{10-Clubs} board and Reichard doubled up.

Seitz Doubles Through Perkins

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Jason Seitz made it 60,000 before Randy Perkins bumped it to 150,000.

Seitz shoved for not much more and Perkins insta-called, turning over {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}.

Seitz was racing for his tournament life with the {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} and there was no waiting as he took the lead on the {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop and held through the {7-Clubs} turn and {q-Clubs} river to double up.

Alexander Busts Wilson

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
James Wilson
James Wilson

James Wilson made it 50,000 and Matt Alexander pushed it to 125,000 one seat away. It folded back to Wilson and he called, sending them heads up to a {J-Hearts}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop.

Both players checked before Wilson led 150,000 on the {10-Spades} turn. Alexander called and the river came the {5-Hearts}. Wilson checked and Alexander jammed for 224,000.

After a good four minutes of Wilson tanking, Alexander called the clock. Wilson called all in for just a tiny bit less before the countdown began with {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}.

Unfortunately for Wilson, Alexander wasn't bluffing, turning over the {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} to drag the massive pot with a flopped boat and send him home.

Kipped!

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Kipp Smith
Kipp Smith

Kipp Smith jammed a little under 300,000 with the {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} over a Marty Faldet open and Faldet looked him up with the {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}.

Nines did the deed yet again as Faldet smashed the {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop and Smith missed the {q-Hearts} turn and {2-Hearts} river.

Kasper Kicked Out

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Kurt Kasper
Kurt Kasper

Marius Toderici and Kurt Kasper got in a preflop raising war that ended rather abruptly when Kasper got it in and Toderici snap-called.

In the end, it was Toderici's {j-Hearts}{j-Spades} versus Kasper's {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} holding on an {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{9-Hearts} run out that left the latter broke.

Nines Hold; Jivkov, Friedman Bust

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Nick Jivkov got most of his chips in with the {a-Spades}{10-Clubs} versus Derek Dempster's {9-Clubs}{9-Spades} and whiffed on an {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{k-Clubs} board to lose a 400,000 chip pot.

He shipped the rest in with a weak ace and got outflopped a few hands later to go broke.

In the meantime, Adam Friedman lost pot after pot until he jammed in over a Marius Toderici raise with {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} for just 108,000.

Toderici called with {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and held on through a {6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{5-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} run out.
