Lauson Doubles Before Break

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

On a flop of {8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{9-Spades}, a player in the cutoff bet 4,500 and Travis Lauson called on the button, as did a third player under the gun. The cutoff shipped it on the {2-Hearts} turn, and Lauson called for about 13,000. The third player mucked.

Lauson: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
Cutoff: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}

Paint arrived but it was the {j-Spades}, no help to the cutoff, and Lauson doubled through.

Last year, Lauson made the final table of Mid-States Poker Tour Ho-Chunk, where he got seventh for $12,882.

Players are on break for 10 minutes.

On a board of {2-Spades}{q-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{7-Spades}, Mid-States Poker Tour Team Pro Blake Bohn fired 3,000 from the button after his small blind opponent checked.

"You're not raising, that means I win," Bohn said, pumping his fist. "Yes!"

Bohn's opponent called and the Minnesotan showed {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} and took the pot.

After the hand, Bohn was told he couldn't discuss his hand during the hand. He debated the ruling with a tournament official, who ended up handing him an orbit penalty.
