Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
"DQ" Dan Hendrickson
"DQ" Dan Hendrickson

Aaron Eggen just took a three-way preflop all in with {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} against the {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} of Nick Pupillo and {8-}{8-} of "DQ" Dan Hendrickson when the board ran out {5-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{a-Clubs}. Eggen had 95,500 to start the hand, and Pupillo lost the majority of his stack, while Hendrickson was covered by both with about 70,000.

Reading Finishes Fielder

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Jeff Fielder
Jeff Fielder

A player opened for 11,000 early, and Jeff Fielder jammed for about 40,000. John Reading shoved as well from Fielder's left, folding out everyone, including the opener.

"You must have kings," Fielder said, showing his own {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}.

Close, but it was {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} for Reading.

The {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop brought a pair for Fielder, though he still trailed. More equity arrived in the form of the {6-Hearts}, giving Fielder a flush draw, but he missed the {2-Clubs} river.

Mark Sandness and Kou Vang also busted out.

Huebener Doubles Through Fielder

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

On a final board of {4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{8-Spades}, Justyn Huebener bet 17,000 from the big blind. Jeff Fielder raised to 42,000, and Huebener shoved.

"I call," Fielder said with a sigh.

Huebener showed {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for the top full house, and Fielder flicked {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} together.

"I always have ace-king against you," he said. "How many monies?"

The total was 76,500, and Fielder shipped the requisite chips.

Peixin Liu
Peixin Liu

Peixin Liu just doubled up when he hit a straight flush with {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} after flopping a flush draw and getting in against the set of fives held by Tyler Caspers.

"Still can't beat you Liu," Caspers mused.

The two have a bit of history, as both made the final table of this event almost exactly one year ago. There, Liu got fourth for $22,297, while Caspers finished third for $32,932.

Ross Wakes Up

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

A player shoved under the gun for about 30,000, and Mike Ross reshoved when action folded to his small blind. The big blind mucked.

Ross: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}
Under the gun: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

Ross' aces had a crushing lead, and he had it locked in by the turn as the board came {k-Spades}{9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}.

Nelson Can't Fade a Draw

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

On a {q-Spades}{6-Clubs}{9-Hearts} flop, Shane Nelson bet and then called off his stack of what looked like about 40,000 when a player check-shoved on him.

Nelson: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Opponent: {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

"This will be fun," Nelson said. "I haven't faded a draw in a long time."

He wouldn't do so this time as a {2-Clubs} turn was followed by a {k-Hearts} river.

Tony Lazar
Tony Lazar

"He's gotta have it on the button," Tony Lazar said with mock digust after DJ Buckley turned over {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}, putting Lazar, who had shoved from the small blind for about 25,000 with {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}, at risk.

The board rolled out {4-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades}{6-Spades}, and "Lazer" headed for the doors.
