Seven from Heaven Saves Aweida

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Sammy Aweida
Sammy Aweida

The short-stacked Sammy Aweida moved all in for 15,000 under the gun and Scotter Clark isolated by three-bet jamming for 55,000 from the cutoff. The button and both blinds got out of the way and the hands were turned up.

Sammy Aweida: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}
Scotter Clark: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Aweida had the inferior pocket pair and needed some major help. He didn't find it on the {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{k-Hearts} flop but he did when the dealer burned and turned the {7-Spades} to give him a full house. The {3-Hearts} river was a brick and Clark sent over the chips.

David Gonia: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

Gonia made a good call holding the overpair and eliminated his opponent after the {9-Hearts} river completed the board.

Chris Nuthak

Chris Nuthak: {5-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

Nuthak held two live cards and he paired on the {7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop. The {9-Hearts} turn gave the player in the cutoff a heart flush draw, but it didn't come in as the {4-Diamonds} completed the board on the river.

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Vlad Tkachuk
Vlad Tkachuk

John Reading opened for 4,000 on the button and Vlad Tkachuk defended his big blind to see a {4-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop.

Tkachuk check-raised Reading's 5,200 continuation bet to 13,000 and Reading re-raised all in putting Tkachuk at risk. Tkachuk went into the tank for roughly five minutes but then put his chips in for the call.

John Reading: {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Vlad Tkachuk: {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}

Tkachuk made the right read and was ahead with his pair of tens but still had to dodge some cards as Reading held two overcards.

The {4-Hearts} turn was a safe card for Tkachuk but the dealer dropped the {k-Spades} on the river ending his night.
