Kola Hooks

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante

Rajasekhar Kola opened under the gun and Jack Christensen called sitting to his left. Action on the table folded around to Justin Heilman who three-bet to 2,800 on the button, Kola called and Christensen four-bet jammed. Action was back on Heilman who reluctantly tossed his hand into the muck while Kola called putting Christensen at risk.

Rajasekhar Kola: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Jack Christensen: {j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

Kola had Christensen crushed but he found a little hope with the {q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop pairing his nine.

The {2-Spades} turn was no help to Christensen nor was the {5-Clubs} river and he took his exit from the tournament field.

Heilman Applies Pressure

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante

There was three-way action that saw a {7-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Spades} flop and Jack Christensen lead out for 2,200 into a 5,400 pot from early position.

Justin Heilman called from the hijack and Steven Hammerschmidt raised to 7,000. Christensen folded and Heilman called to see the {q-Spades} fall on the turn.

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante
Cody Brinn
Cody Brinn

There was heads-up action after a {8-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop between David McConachie and Cody Brinn.

McConachie checked his option from under the gun and Brinn fired out 2,300 into a 2,500 pot. McConachie called to see the board pair with the {3-Diamonds} turn.

McConachie checked again and Brinn moved all in for 7,500 sending McConachie into the tank.

A few minutes passed and Brinn called the clock on McConachie and the tournament director started his 30-second countdown. McConachie thought for a few more moments then tossed his hand into the muck giving Brinn the pot.
