Nick Boll raised to 3,200 from the button and Ryan Remington defended the big blind. Remington check-called 4,000 on the {9-Spades}{5-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop, bringing a {10-Spades}. Remington checked and Boll shoved for 14,000 effective.

Remington called off with {10-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for two pair but was smashed by {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. The {3-Clubs} sent Remington to the rebuy desk.

Livingston and Wilkie Both Have a Jack

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

On a board of {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}, Steve Wilkie checked from early position. Matt Livingston bet 10,000 into about 35,000 from the cutoff, and Wilkie tanked awhile before flicking in a black {j-}. Livingston tossed in the {j-Diamonds}.

They had some banter after the hand, and Livingston hinted he had the goods.

"I probably had it if I showed a jack," he said.

Mader Stays Sticky, Wins With Kicker

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Four players saw a {3-Spades}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop for 4,000 apiece and the blinds checked to Naval Subbarayan, who bet 6,000. A player in middle position made it 16,500, and Phil Mader cold-called from the small blind. The big blind mucked, as did Subbarayan.

Mader checked the {4-Diamonds} turn and called another sizable barrel of 20,000. Both players checked the {7-Diamonds}, and Mader's {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} outkicker {j-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

Casey Doubles

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On a completed board of {5-Spades}{2-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, Conor Casey checked in the small blind and Nader Wahdan bet 5,500. A player in the cutoff called and Casey moved all in for just under 20,000. Wahdan called immediately and the third player folded.

Casey turned over {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for a set.

"Nice hand," Wahdan said, showing {a-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for aces up.

Zoller Wins a Race in a Hurry

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

A player in late position shove for about 13,000 over several limpers and got action from the first of those, Nate Zoller, who had {a-}{k-}. He was up against {9-}{9-} and flopped the Broadway straight to all but lock the pot up. The brick turn sealed it for Zoller.
