Wahdan Busted

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante
Nader Wahdan
Nader Wahdan

Nader Wahdan was all in preflop against four players, and there looked to be around 25,000 in the pot.

On the {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}{10-Clubs} flop, small blind Ken Mann bet 2,500. Only the hijack called, and that player called further bets of 3,000 and 6,000 on the {4-Clubs} turn and {8-Spades} river, respectively.

Mann tabled {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a full house and Wahdan slapped down {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} in frustration.

Melander Takes a Beat

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

Below the starting stack after a slow start, Todd Melander opened under the gun for 1,200 and got his remaining chips in against the big blind, holding {k-}{k-} against a dominated {q-}{q-}. Unfortunately for the Minnesotan, a queen arrived on the river to cost him all of his stack.

McMaster Greeted Rudely

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

WSOP bracelet winner Derek McMaster just took a seat at a table in the corner of the room, and he hasn't hesitated to put his chips in play. Three players put in 1,500 preflop to see a {2-Spades}{7-Clubs}{9-Spades} flop, and action checked to the button, where a player moved all in for 6,000.

McMaster called right away with {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs} but trailed {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}. The {3-Clubs} turn gave McMaster more outs but the river was a {4-Diamonds}.

Livingston Celebrates Triple Digit Attendance

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

After one check, a player in middle position bet 2,500 on an {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop. Matt Livingston called on his left and the big blind came along as well for the {5-Hearts} turn. Action checked to Livingston and he put in all of his big chips, 35,000. That elicited two quick folds.

The field has also hit 100 here on Day 1b.

Dixon Dumped

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante
Rich Dixon
Rich Dixon

Karen Novotny and Rich Dixon each put in 7,000 from the blinds on a board of {j-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts}, though we didn't see who the aggressor was. On the {5-Diamonds} river, Novotny bet 1,000 and Dixon shoved. It looked to be 14,200 and Novotny got a rough count before announcing a call and showing {a-Spades}{5-Spades}.

"Did you really put a five out there?" Dixon asked the dealer, spinning {a-}{3-} into the middle.

Meier Busted

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante

On a flop of {9-Hearts}{q-Spades}{10-Spades}, Dylan Meier bet 2,600 in middle position only to see an opponent in late position, Naval Subbarayan make it 6,000. Meier shoved for 12,600 and Subbarayan quickly called with {k-Clubs}{j-Spades} for the nuts.

Meier had equity with {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} for bottom two but the turn and river bricked out for him.
