A player opened from middle position to 3,500 and action folded around to Ahmed Taleb, who defended his big blind. The flop was and Ahmed checked to his opponent, who made a continuation-bet of 4,000. Ahmed called.
Both players checked the turn and the river came . Taleb made a bet of 10,000 and was quickly called.
Taleb tabled for trip queens with the nut kicker. His opponent flung his cards face up to the center of the table to muck them, displaying a second-best before the pot was shipped Taleb's way.

A player raised to 4,000 from under the gun and received a call by another player in middle position. Action folded around to Igor Hot, who was on the button and went all in.
Hot was already sitting with a wall of chips and the reraise effectively put both other players in. They both were sitting with between 20,000 and 30,000, and the original raiser committed the rest of his chips after about 15 seconds.
The middle-position player then went into the tank for about 40 seconds before deciding to call as well. The dealer requested all three hands be turned up for the runout.

The board ran out to give Hot a pair of kings on the river.
"Ace-king," said the dealer, pushing the king forward and announcing Hot's hand as best. Both players found themselves with no chips left to play and made their way from the tournament area as Hot scooped the pot and added to his stack.
"It's your day," said tablemate Cody Brinn. Though there are still four-and-a-half levels left in the night, Hot looks to be the chip leader by a decent margin despite some large stacks around the room.

The tournament clock now displays a total of 301 entries into Day 1c, making the running total at the current moment 654. There is just over an hour left of registration available, so that number should climb slightly higher before the registration period closes.
Meanwhile, the eleventh table in play just broke, meaning that there are 90 players still duking it out at the felt with the hopes of finding their names among those to make it to Day 2 when the night comes to a close.

Bryant Miller opened the action with a raise to 2,500 from middle position and action folded around to the player on the button, who called. The small blind also called, as did Dedric Henderson from the big blind to take postflop action four ways.
The flop dropped and both blinds checked. Miller fired a continuation-bet of 3,000, which was raised to 8,000 by the player on the button. Both blinds folded and Miller thought for a few moments before putting out a T5,000 chip to complete the call.
The turn came and Bryant checked. The player on the button bet another 8,000 and Bryant made the call.
Bryant then checked again on the river and his opponent put out a bet of 23,000. Miller thought for around a minute and then announced a check-raise all in. His opponent seemed disgusted and confused as he processed the situation and the dealer reached forward to the five-seat to cut out Miller's stack for a count as he anticipated him to spend some time making his decision. It was not necessary.
"I call," said Bryant's opponent just before the dealer was about to reach Miller's chips.
Miller tabled for the nuts; a full house, aces full of kings.
"Ace-nine?" asked tablemate Saad Ghanem. He was close - became visible on the table, showing that the player had flopped a set that became the second-best full house when all was said and done. The player barely covered Bryant's stack, earning him a full double to bring him well over 200,000 at the close of Level 10.

Jill Bryant opened to 3,000 from early position and action folded around to Johanssy Joseph, who defended his big blind. The dealer fanned a flop of and Joseph checked. Bryant fired out a continuation-bet of 5,300 and Joseph called.
The turn was and both players checked to bring the river . Joseph bet 17,000, a nearly pot-sized bet, and Bryant went all in over the top for what was totaled to be 65,600. Joseph went into the tank.
"Sixty-five, six?" asked Joseph after some time. The dealer confirmed and he went back into the tank. He finally settled on a call.
Bryant turned over with a wry grin, showing nothing more than ace-king high to accompany the board's pair of queens. Joseph showed for the nut flush, good to send Bryant to the rail for a quick moment, as she has just sat down again to fire her second and final bullet into the event with around 10 minutes left in Level 10.
