The $1,110 MSPT Cleveland Poker Open at JACK Cleveland Casino kicks off today with Day 1a. This is the first of three Day 1 flights and is set to begin at 12:00p.m. local time.

Last year's tournament broke a record for being the largest $1,000+ buy in tournament in Cleveland’s history with 725 entries. Sean Munjal was last year's champion and he took home $140,654 along with the MSPT trophy.

Players will begin with a 25,000 starting stack, and Day 1a is scheduled to play through 15, 40-minute levels before wrapping up for the night. All players are allowed one re-entry per flight, and late registration is available up through the beginning of Level 13.

The blinds begin at 100/100 with a 100 big blind ante. A 10-minute break will be given to the players after every three levels, with a 40-minute dinner break after level nine. The blinds and antes will reach 3000/5000/5000 at Level 15, which will conclude play for the day.

Players who are unable to bag chips today will have a chance to try again tomorrow on Day 1b or Day 1c on Saturday. The survivors of the three starting flights will come back as a combined field for Day 2 Sunday, and the tournament will play down to a champion.
