Day 1a of the 2020 MSPT Cleveland Poker Open at JACK Cleveland Casino has come to an end. The action was paused with 6:00 left in level 14 due to the field reaching a size of 12%. Today saw a total of 159 entries and 19 of those players bagged chips for Day 2. This tournament is on pace to break last year's record as Day 1a in 2019 drew in 157 entries.

The fell on the turn and Greg Lytle bet 30,000 from the big blind when the small blind checked it to him. The next two players to act folded and the small blind check-raised all in. Lytle called off his remaining 77,000 and they flipped their cards over.

Four players limped in including Art Demmerley in the small blind. The players saw a flop that came and the action checked to the hijack who bet 12,000. The player on the button called and Demmerley check-raised to 30,000. The hijack folded and the button called.
The fell on the turn and Demmerley led out for 30,000. His opponent moved all in for around 140,000 and Demmerley quickly called.
