The second flight of the Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) Canterbury Park $1,100 buy-in, $400,000 GTD Main Event is set to get underway at 3 p.m. local time, the second of three starting flights.

Day 1a drew 241 entries and after a hard stop with 20:03 left in Level 15, play ended with 28 players finding a bag for Sunday's Day 2.

Jacob Blumberg was the player who bagged the top stack (529,000) with Cody Espeseth (509,000), and MSPT Hall of Famer Kou Vang (499,000) hot on his tail.

[Removed:309] (385,000) and Hunter Cichy (379,000) rounded out the top five stacks for the first flight with Terence Reid (367,000), Dennis Stevermer (227,000), Matt Alexander (192,000), Josh Reichard (126,000) and Chad Holloway (101,000) all finding a Day 2 birth.

Today, another group of players will try to challenge Blumberg's stack. The second starting flight will be identical to its first as action will commence once 20:03 is remaining in Level 15. All players will start with 25,000 in chips with 10-minute breaks coming after every two hours of play.

Late registration is open until the beginning of Level 13 at approximately 11:40 p.m. local time with one reentry available per flight should players wish to use it.

After the hard stop is reached, all remaining players will bag up for the night and will combine with Day 1a players for Day 2 action on Sunday, December 12th at 11 a.m. local time.
