There was heads-up action between Blake Bohn from the button and his opponent from late position with a completed board of

After the player under the gun limped-in, the hijack raised to 1,600 and was called by Donnie Phan from the small blind before George Dietz three-bet jammed for 11,800 from the big blind.
Action folded back to the initial raiser who came over the top and isolated after Phan folded.

In the end, it was Minnesota native Alan Carlson who collected every chip in play to capture the WPC trophy, along with first-place $5,868 payday.
