Ryan Adams Eliminated in 13th Place ($7,196)

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Ryan Adams
Ryan Adams

Jose Araya limped under the gun only to have Ryan Adams raise all in for around 800,000 next to act. Action folded back to Araya and he called.

Jose Araya: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Ryan Adams: {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}

The board ran out {7-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{q-Spades} and Araya sent Adams to the rail.

DJ Buckley Eliminated in 12th Place ($8,505)

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
DJ Buckley
DJ Buckley

Minnesota's DJ Buckley moved all in for 365,000 from the button and Andrew Moreno called from the big blind.

Andrew Moreno: {j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
DJ Buckley: {a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}

Buckley got it in good and paired his ace on the {10-Hearts}{a-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop. Unfortunately for him, the turn was the {9-Diamonds} to give Moreno his gutshot straight. The {10-Spades} river changed nothing and the MSPT veteran hit the rail.

Trung Le Eliminated in 11th Place ($8,505)

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Trung Le
Trung Le

Trung Le raised to 125,000 only to have Alejandro Jauregui three-bet to 350,000 from the small blind. Hiau Han called from the big, Le moved all in, and Jauregui called off for 1.99 million. Han got out of the way and the hands were turned up.

Alejandro Jauregui: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Trung Le: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The {k-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades} gave Le a pair of kings, but that was the only help he'd get as the {q-Spades} bricked the turn followed by the {4-Diamonds} on the river.

Le was left with 525,000 after the hand but went bust a short time later.

Adam Friedman Eliminated in 10th Place ($9,813)

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Adam Friedman
Adam Friedman

Three-time bracelet winner and MSPT JACK Cleveland champ Adam Friedman began the day as a big chip leader, and he nearly rode it all the way to the final table.

Unfortunately, he grew short and nursed it for a bit before getting it all in preflop against Jose Araya in a race situation.

Adam Friedman: {k-}{9-}
Jose Araya: {2-}{2-}

Friedman needed to improve to stay alive, but that proved easier said than done as the board ran out clean and allowed the deuces to hold.

Tony Galanti Eliminated in 9th Place ($9,813)

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Tony Galanti
Tony Galanti

Tony Galanti was down to just 20,000 and automatically all in from the big blind.

Britton Scheibe called 60,000 from under the gun, Eli Loewenthal did the same from the button, and Jose Araya came along from the small blind to make it three active players on the side.

The trio of players proceeded to check it down as the board ran out {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{5-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}.

Eli Loewenthal: {k-}{9-}
Jose Araya: {k-}{7-}
Britton Scheibe: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Tony Galanti: {a-Spades}{4-Hearts}

Scheibe had the best of it with trip jacks and with that Galanti hit the rail. The remaining eight players will now redraw down to the final table before taking a dinner break until 8:15 p.m. local time.

Stay tuned for updated counts and the final table draw.

Haiau Han Eliminated in 8th Place ($11,122)

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Hiau Han
Hiau Han

In the first hand back from the dinner break, it was no surprise to see Haiau Han get it in given he returned with just the amount of the small blind. A third of his chips went in via the ante and he put in the last 20,000 from middle position.

Andrew Moreno called from the button, Alejandro Jauregui called from the small, and Jason Fitzpatrick checked his option from the big. All three players then checked the {k-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{a-Clubs} flop before the {10-Spades} appeared on the turn. Two checks saw Moreno bet 100,000 and the other two active players got out of the way.

Hiau Han: {a-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}
Andrew Moreno: {j-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Moreno turned the nuts and Han was drawing dead headed to the river, which was the meaningless {10-Diamonds}.

Britton Scheibe Eliminated in 7th Place ($15,701)

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Britton Scheibe
Britton Scheibe

Action folded around to Jason Fitzpatrick in the small blind and he simply moved all in to put the pressure on the short-stacked Britton Scheibe, who called off for around 550,000 from the big.

Jason Fitzpatrick: {q-Clubs}{5-Hearts}
Britton Scheibe: {a-Spades}{9-Spades}

Scheibe got it in good and technically held on the flop of {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}, though Fitzpatrick did pick up a straight draw. It came in too when the dealer burned and turned the {9-Hearts}.

Scheibe was looking for a queen on the river to stay alive, but it wasn't in the cards as the {8-Diamonds} peeled off instead.

Andrew Moreno Eliminated in 6th Place ($20,281)

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Andrew Moreno
Andrew Moreno

With around 300,000 in the pot and a flop of {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}, action exploded between Jose Araya and Andrew Moreno that resulted in the latter getting his last 900,000 or so in the middle.

Andrew Moreno: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Jose Araya: {9-Spades}{7-Spades}

Araya had two pair but Moreno was drawing to both straight and flush draws. Unfortunately for the latter, those draws were rendered moot when the {7-Clubs} peeled off on the turn to fill up Araya.

The meaningless {a-Spades} was run out on the river and Moreno headed to the payout desk in sixth place.

Jose Araya Eliminated in 5th Place ($26,823)

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Jose Araya
Jose Araya

With approximately 1.3 million already in the pot and a board reading {10-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{a-Clubs}, Jose Araya moved all in for 2.06 million from the big blind and Alejandro Jauregui, who was in the under-the-gun position, shot out of his chair.

He put his hands on his head, asked for an exact count, and put together some chips.

"I don't think I can fold," he said. He paused a few more beats and spiked in the call.

"You got it," Araya said, which promoted an excited Jauregui to showed the {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}.

Araya was obligated to show given it was an all-in situation, and the dealer showed his {8-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}.

Jason Fitzpatrick Eliminated in 4th Place ($40,562)

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 20,000 ante
Jason Fitzpatrick
Jason Fitzpatrick

Not long after he doubled up Jesse Jones, Jason Fitzpatrick got his last 1.4 million or so all in preflop and was at risk against chip leader Alejandro Jauregui.

Alejandro Jauregui: {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Jason Fitzpatrick: {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

Fitzpatrick was drawing to two live cards, but he watched helplessly as the board ran out a dry {2-Spades}{k-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{7-Spades} to end his run in fourth place.
