Uselis Wins With Aggression

Level 32 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Gediminas Uselis raised to 500,000 from the hijack, David McGowan called from the cutoff, as did Daan Mulders from the big blind.

The {8-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop was checked to McGowan who fired for 700,000 and Mulders called before Uselis raised to 2,050,000.

McGowan decided to let his hand go while Mulders called which brought in the {a-Spades} turn. Mulders quickly checked to Uselis who continued with his aggression and tossed out a healthy bet of 3,000,000.

The bet prompted a quick fold from Mulders and Uselis collected the pot.

Gennaro Proscia

Gennaro Proscia was all in preflop from the hijack and Daan Mulders called from the button.

Gennaro Proscia: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Daan Mulders: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

Proscia got his chips in the middle with a premium hand but didn't like what he saw after the cards were tabled as Mulders held a better pair. The {2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{9-Clubs} runout ended his tournament in sixth place for $66,882.

Barry Hutter Eliminated in 5th Place ($97,903)

Level 33 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Barry Hutter
Barry Hutter

Action folded around to David McGowan who raised all in from the small blind and Barry Hutter called off his short stack in the big blind.

Barry Hutter: {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
David McGowan: {9-Spades}{7-Spades}

Hutter was ahead and a six did appear in the window on the {3-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop, but there was also a seven lying underneath putting McGowan out in front.

The {5-Diamonds} turn wasn't a horrible sight for Hutter as it brought possible chop outs if a four were to come on the river, but Hutter wanted an ace or six to snag the double.

Unfortunately for him, the dealer paired the board with the {5-Hearts} on the river and he took his exit in fifth place for $97,903.

Underwood Turns a Nine to Double Through Mulders

Level 33 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Benjamin Underwood was all in preflop from the big blind for 2,300,000 and Daan Mulders called from the small blind.

Benjamin Underwood: {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Daan Mulders: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

Underwood didn't like what he saw after the hands were tabled and the {7-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{q-Diamonds} flop wasn't any help.

Luckily for him, the {9-Diamonds} came falling on the turn, putting him out in front and the {q-Hearts} river secured his double-up.

Benjamin Underwood Eliminated in 4th Place ($116,758)

Level 33 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Benjamin Underwood
Benjamin Underwood

David McGowan raised to 600,000 from under the gun and then called Benjamin Underwood's 4,000,000 three-bet jam from the small blind.

Benjamin Underwood: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
David McGowan: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

It was a classic race with Underwood looking to connect with either of his two overs but neither appeared on the {8-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop.

The turn came the {2-Spades}, which wasn't the worst card for Underwood as it gave him the nut flush draw but the {q-Clubs} completed the board on the river and ended his tournament in fourth place for $116,758.

Daan Mulders

Daan Mulders raised from the button and then called off his 4,000,000 stack after David McGowan three-bet jammed from the big blind.

Daan Mulders: {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
David McGowan: {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

Mulders was dominated and things got worse after a queen appeared in the window on the {3-Spades}{4-Clubs}{q-Clubs} flop.

Mulders tournament hopes were kept alive after the {a-Spades} turn gave him a draw to Broadway. The {2-Spades} river completed the board and ended his tournament in third place for $152,874.
