Colson Stacks Another, Adds More

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

A player in late position moved all in for 54,000 and was immediately called by Rodney Colson on his left. The rest of the table folded and the two went to a runout.

All-in player: {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Rodney Colson: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

Colson was in a good spot and avoided the ace on the {8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} runout to add more to his stack.

Ryan Remington opened to 9,000 on the button and immediately met resistance when the player in the small blind moved all in for about 75,000. Remington agonized but decided to risk his tournament life with a call for 62,000 effective.

Ryan Remington: {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Small blind: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The flop was about as good as it gets for Remington when the {4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} hit the board, making him the favorite even without a made hand yet. The {9-Clubs} turn gave him the flush, but he needed to dodge the redraw of his opponent. The {9-Spades} river was safe and he locked up the double.

"I didn't think you'd have eight-seven there," his upset opponent vented.

"I'm going to have 12 big blinds next level," said Remington as he raked his new chips.

Wazwaz Goes Runner Runner

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

Rob Wazwaz and MoNuwwarah had got all their chips in the middle preflop with Wazwaz at risk for a pot of about 100,000.

Rob Wazwaz: {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
Mo Nuwwarah: {j-}{j-}

Nuwwarah was ahead, and even more so when the {6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{j-Hearts} came out, leaving Wazwaz drawing very thin. The {3-Hearts} brought some slim hope. That hope came to fruition when the {5-Hearts} hit the river, completing the miracle comeback and keeping Wazwaz's tournament hopes alive.
