The second flight of the Grand Falls $1,110 Main Event of the Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) fires up today at the Grand Falls Casino in Larchwood, Iowa.
Day 1b starts at 3 p.m. this afternoon. With a $200,000 guarantee, 27 players have already played their way to Day 2 on Sunday. Today's entrants will look to join them, and flight 1b is their last chance to do so.
Last year's Grand Falls Main Event saw 532 total entrants generate a prize pool of $514,540, far surpassing the guarantee. It was Nicholas "grizpoker" Smith, from Indianapolis, Indiana who came out on top of that field to win $110,633 and his first MSPT title.
