Action was found in a brewing pot on the river in a heads-up pot. The board read {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{k-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}.

CJ Peake was in the small blind and led for 3,500 into a pot of about 6,000. On the button, his opponent announced, "Raise," and put in 8,000.

Peake thought for about 20 seconds before sliding out his full stack of 24,000 into the middle.

His opponent did not call immediately. He thought for about a minute, shuffled his chips, counted his stack, and considered risking his tournament life after playing only a few hands. Eventually, he did put it in the middle.

CJ Peake showed {q-Spades}{10-Hearts} for the flopped straight.

"Of course," said his opponent, who showed {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} for top set.

Action started on the turn between two players, Joseph Paris in the small blind and his opponent on the button. The board showed {8-Spades}{q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}.

Paris bet 6,500 into the large pot and his opponent made the call fairly quickly.

On the relative blank {6-Hearts} river, Paris fired for a healthy 15,000. His opponent only thought for about 10 seconds before making the call.

Paris showed {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}.

"Straight, flopped it," said the dealer.

Indeed he did, and his opponent showed {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} for bottom set on the flop.

Gabe Neighbors limped in the cutoff before Angela Jordison raised to 400 on the button. Action folded back to neighbors who made the call.

The flop showed up {4-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{k-Spades}. Neighbors check-called a bet of 700 from Jordison.

The turn came the {2-Spades} and Jordison ramped up the pressure with a bet of 2,800. Again, Neighbors went for the check-call.

The river was the {4-Hearts}, pairing the bottom card on the board. Neighbors checked the final street to Jordison, who bet around 7,000, which Neighbors called quickly.

Neighbors showed {q-Spades}{4-Spades} for trips and the winner.
