Day 1b Started

Day 1b of The Mid States Poker Tour $1,110 Main Event Kicks Off At 12 PM

MSPT Firekeepers Field
MSPT Firekeepers Field

The second of three flights for theMid-States Poker Tour $1,110 No-Limit Hold’em at Firekeepers Casino in Battle Creek, Michigan begins today at 12 pm. Yesterday saw the biggest Day 1a seen in MSPT Firekeepers history and today’s flight promises to be all of that and then some.

While last time’s second flight got 596 entrants, yesterday’s Day 1a got 615 entrants and it stands to reason that today’s flight will be a bigger field than yesterday. Many players are expected to fire today including Kyna England, Renato Spahiu, Daniel Sepiol, and Kevin Berthelsen.

The players will sit down with 25,000 in starting chips with blinds at 100/100 with a 100 big blind ante and levels going up every 40 minutes. After every three levels, there will be a 10-minute break. After level 9 there will be a 40-minute dinner break, after which the players will come back, play an additional three levels until registration closes. After which, the players will play three more levels and then bag up for the day at the end of level 15 or if the field comes down to 12% of the remaining players.

The players who do not bag the Day 1b flight will have an opportunity to play the flight on Saturday the 14th with their chance to get a piece of this $1,000,000 guaranteed prizepool. The players who bag all flight will reunite on Sunday the 15th at 11 am to play down to a winner. Stay tuned to PokerNews for continued updates on the flights, the second day, and the eventual winner of the tournament.
