Copeland Flops the Goods

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante
Jeffrey Copeland
Jeffrey Copeland

There was four-way action after a {9-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} flop and action was checked to Jeffrey Copeland who fired out 4,000 from middle position.

Only the button called and the two went heads-up to the {8-Spades} turn.

Copeland led out for 11,500, sending his opponent deep into the tank.

After some careful thought, the button mucked their hand and Copeland showed {k-Clubs}{q-Spades} for the nuts as he raked in the pot.

Angela Jordison

Angela Jordison raised to 1,500 from middle position and found one caller before the button three-bet to 4,500.

Eric Atchison Flushes Bartelme for Double

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante
Eric Atchison
Eric Atchison

There was heads-up action between two-time MSPT Grand Falls Regional Champ Eric Atchison from under the gun and Melissa Bartelme from middle position.

The board read {4-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Atchison made a pot sized 5,000 bet.

Bartelme called and the {8-Spades} completed the board on the river.

Atchison quickly moved all-in for 7,300 and Bartelme tossed out a call. Atchison rolled over {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a turned flush and it was good as Bartelme tossed {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} into the muck.
