Tens Hold for Anderson

Level 2 : 100/200, 200 ante
Blake Anderson
Blake Anderson

Blake Anderson raised to 600 from under the gun only to have 2013 Running Aces Main Event champ David Gonia three-bet to 1,500 directly to his left.

Action quickly folded to the big blind who called, and Anderson came along as well bringing action three-ways to a {8-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Spades} flop.

Action was checked to Gonia who continued for 2,000 and only Anderson check-called to see the {8-Clubs} pair the board on the turn.

Anderson check-called the 3,000 bet Gonia tossed out and the {3-Diamonds} river was checked by both players.

Anderson quickly rolled over {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for tens and eights to scoop the pot while Gonia mucked his hand facedown.

Barnum Handed Early Cooler from Van Syckle

Level 2 : 100/200, 200 ante
Bob Van Syckle
Bob Van Syckle

Bob Van Syckle limped-in from under the gun only to have Justin Barnum fire out a 700 raise directly to his left.

Two players called along with Van Syckle, bringing action three-ways to a {8-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop.

Action was checked to Barnum who continued for 1,500 and found one caller before Van Syckle check-raised to 5,000. Barnum three-bet jammed for 18,300 and action folded back to Van Syckle who called off his 17,300 stack.

Justin Barnum: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Bob Van Syckle: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}

Barnum was looking good after both players flopped a set, but the dealer dropped the {7-Clubs} on the turn, improving Van Syckle to quads.

Barnum was unable to find the case jack on the river as the {4-Hearts} completed the board and Van Syckle collected the early double.
