Kukowski Out Kicks Veith for Double

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante
Greg Kukowski
Greg Kukowski

Both Ed Veith and Jason Crews limped-in before calling a 2,500 raise from Greg Kukowski, taking action three-ways to a {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{j-Spades} flop.

Action was checked to Kukowski who continued for 6,500 and only Veith check-called to see the {9-Diamonds} turn.

Veith check-called the 21,100 all in bet from Kukowski and the two players tabled their hands.

Greg Kukowski: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Ed Veith: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Both players flopped top pair with Kukowski holding the better kicker and he dodged the river as the {2-Clubs} secured his double-up.

Brandvold Sets Up Nabizadehgangaraj for KO

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante
Arlie Brandvold
Arlie Brandvold

Action on the table folded to Ali Nabizadehgangaraj who raised all in for 15,000 from the cutoff and Arlie Brandvold isolated with a 30,000 three-bet from the small blind.

Arlie Brandvold: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Ali Nabizadehgangaraj: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}

Nabizadehgangaraj had Brandvold crushed until the {2-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop hit the felt giving Brandvold top set.

The {7-Hearts} turn was no help to Nabizadehgangaraj nor was the {10-Diamonds} river as he took his exit from the tournament field.
