Swart Shows the Nuts

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Brad Sailor opened for 8,000 from early position and found three callers which included Bruce Swart from the button.

The flop came {9-Spades}{5-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and the small blind led out 12,000. The big blind quickly mucked their hand while Sailor and Swart called.

Once the {8-Hearts} fell on the turn, the small blind fired out 13,000 and Sailor called before Swart raised all in for 99,000.

The small blind released their hand while Sailor went into the tank. After some careful thought, Sailor mucked his hand and Swart showed {q-Clubs}{j-Spades} for the nut straight.

Alexander Flushes Opponent for KO

Level 13 : 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
John Alexander From Day 1a Action
John Alexander From Day 1a Action

There was heads-up action between John Alexander from the hijack and his opponent from the small blind with a {8-Spades}{j-Spades}{2-Clubs}{3-Spades} board showing.

With over 50k already in the middle, the small blind jammed with a pot sized bet and Alexander snap-called.

Opponent: {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
John Alexander: {q-Spades}{10-Spades}

Both players held the same hand, but Alexander held the correct suit as the turn gave him the flush and the {a-Diamonds} river eliminated his opponent from the tournament.
