Just Your Standard Four-Way All-in Pot in Level Four

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante
Thomas Gabriel
Thomas Gabriel

A wild pot just developed preflop that saw three players eliminated at the hands of Thomas Gabriel.

Christopher Reyher opened in the cutoff to 1,000 which was met with all-in bets from Robert Bowden on the button and Paul Clotar in the small blind. Gabriel then called both bets in the big blind and Reyer shrugged and called, with all three all-ins covered by Gabriel.

Christopher Reyher: {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Robert Bowden: {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Paul Clotar: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Thomas Gabriel: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

Gabriel had found the perfect time to wake up with aces, but if there was a downside to his situation, it was that all his opponents were quite short-stacked.

He did manage to fade all three opponents though as the dealer spread a board of {j-Spades}{5-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, and his aces held to move him above two starting stacks.
