MSPT Season 12 Final Standings - Player of the Year

Level 1 : 100/100, 100 ante
Kyna England
Kyna England

Kyna England took down the Season 12 Player of the Year title after winning the MSPT Winter Poker Classic at Canterbury Park in December. She held off a late charge by Taylor Howard in the finale event of the year to become the first female Player of the Year in MSPT history.

Since its inception in 2009, the MSPT has done a great job keeping track of player stats. As a result, they have one of the best player databases in the industry.

On their "Leaderboards" page, the MSPT tracks such things as Career Earnings, Main Event Cashes, Main Event Final Tables, Main Event Titles, Total Cashes, Most Cashes/Final Tables in a Season, Most Final Tables All-Time, and much more.

Here's a look at the final standings in the Season 12 points race.

Gross Gets a Set

Level 1 : 100/100, 100 ante

On a completed board of {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts} with approximately 4,000 in the pot, the hijack had 2,000 chips committed to the pot, and Matthew Gross raised to 8,000 in middle position.

His opponent thought about it and engaged in a bit of table talk before tossing his cards in the muck. Gross revealed {3-Hearts}{3-Spades} for a flopped set as he raked in the chips.
