Josh Reichard finished in 24th place for $4,468, but with no other Player of the Year candidates remaining in the tournament he has wrapped up the top spot on the leaderboard for the 2022 season.

Reichard had ten MSPT Main Event cashes in 2022 and three final tables, and 2022 saw him achieve $2,000,000 in total career earnings. He also earned his way into the MSPT Hall of Fame in 2022 with his 25th career cash in an MSPT Main Event.

Roland Israelashvili limped in from the small blind before Kenny Huynh raised to 100,000 from the big blind. Israelashvili called and the flop was {7-Spades}{6-Hearts}{9-Spades}.

Both players checked the flop, as well as the {j-Diamonds} turn and the {6-Clubs} river.

"Two pair," Israelashvili said as he turned over {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}. Huynh laughed and shook his head before he tossed the losing hand in the muck.

Huynh is setting the mid-afternoon pace, but Israelashvili has chipped up in recent levels and he now sits among the leaders.
