Klayman Pressures Ronan; Can Doubles Through Perry

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Action was heads up with 150,000 in the middle and {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} on the board when Patrick Ronan bet 100,000 from the small blind before Michael Klayman shoved with more from the big blind. Ronan went into the tank and used a time bank, but he ultimately decided against getting it in.

Meanwhile on another table, Nesrin Can got her last 240,000 in with {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} against the {q-Hearts}{q-Spades} of Jacob Perry. The board ran out {j-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Can secured the double with a flopped Broadway straight.

A few minutes later, Ronan was seen leaving the tournament area.

Reichard Leaves Massey With Crumbs

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Josh Reichard
Josh Reichard

Just before blinds went up, Josh Reichard opened to 175,000 while he left 10,000 behind and Ralph Massey shoved from the button with just a little bit more. The blinds got out of the way and Reichard used a time bank before he tossed his last 10,000 in. Action was heads up and Reichard was at risk.

Josh Reichard: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Ralph Massey: {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

The board ran out {q-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and Reichard flopped a Broadway straight to secure the double and leave Massey with just one T-5,000 chip.

Panda Shoves and Takes From Toledo and Letzring

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Matt Letzring opened from under the gun and Abishek Panda called from the next seat over. Delmiro Toledo raised to 120,000 from late position and Letzring called before Panda shoved all in for 455,000. Toledo ducked out of the way before Letzring leaned back to consider his options, but ultimately it was too much and he got away from it to give Panda a big pot without a flop.

Waters Gets Away From One but Java Busts Him With Quads

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Nipus Java
Nipus Java

Marquis Waters opened from the button and Patrick Ronan raised to 100,000 from the big blind. Waters called and the flop was {7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

Ronan continued for 100,000 after the flop and Waters called to see {4-Diamonds} on the turn.

Ronan shoved the turn for just under 300,000 and Waters went into the tank. After he used two time banks, Waters tossed his hand in the muck and gave up the pot.

A few moments later, Waters was seen getting up to exit the tournament area with {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} showing. The board read {10-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}, and Waters had a pair of queens, but Nipun Java had tabled {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} to eliminate Waters with quad fives.
