Riordan Doubles; Table 30 is Stacked

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

John Riordan was all in for his last 12,500 from the small blind and a player in the cutoff had him at risk.

John Riordan: {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Cutoff: {a-Spades}{4-Clubs}

The board ran out {3-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{5-Spades}{8-Hearts} and Riordan flopped a pair of kings to secure the double.

Elsewhere at the Table 30, Shannon Shorr and Ryan Riess are in the mix, while Ryan Leng sat down with just over 30,000 before he busted out with suited connectors. Delmiro Toledo is also there, and he's chipped up among the leaders after a red-hot afternoon.

Barnum On the Move

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Miles Barnum
Miles Barnum

Miles Barnum was seen dragging in a small double after his {a-Spades}{8-Clubs} held up against the {9-Spades}{8-Spades} of the opponent to his right. The board ran out {7-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{a-Clubs} and the ace on the river sealed the double.

A few moments later, Barnum was in three-handed action and all-in again, this time for 8,100 with nearly 20,000 in the pot and {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} on the board. James Romero called and the other player got out of the way before Barnum turned over {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}. Romero had {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and the {9-Spades} river was no help so Barnum took another pot to bring his stack back to health.

Evans Scores a Double on the River

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Lena Evans
Lena Evans

A player in early position raised to 2,200 and Lena Evans called from the next seat over before a player in late position came along as well. The cutoff three-bet to 8,500 but the player in early position made it 28,500. Evans committed her last 10,900 and the other two players got out of the way to set up a heads-up runout.

Lena Evans: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Opponent: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}

The board ran out {j-Spades}{5-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and Evans made kings and jacks on the river to crack the pocket queens and secure the double.

Clinkscales Busts Jaffee With Ice Cream in Hand

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Jared Jaffee was seen exiting the tournament area while Rex Clinkscales stacked up his chips.

The board showed {k-}{5-}{8-}{2-}{q-} and Clinkscales had {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} showing. Jaffee had {a-}{k-} and it was already in the muck.

It should be noted that Clinkscales stacked up Jaffee's chips without putting down his ice cream bar.

Reichard Gets a Shove Through

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Josh Reichard
Josh Reichard

Action was four ways with 7,000 in the middle and {k-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{a-Hearts} on the board when MSPT Player of the Year points leader Josh Reichard bet 3,000 from early position. A player in the cutoff was the lone caller and the other two tossed their hands in the muck.

The turn was {8-Clubs} and Reichard check-shoved a 4,000 bet with the cutoff covered, which sent his opponent deep into the tank. After several minutes of thought, it was too much and Reichard forced the fold and took the pot.
