Beile Li raised to 9,000 from the hijack and found three callers which included Gregory Kukowski from the cutoff, along with 2021 MSPT POY Kyna England from the small blind.

The {q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop was checked by all four players, bringing the {k-Diamonds} turn.

Action was checked to the button who ripped their 35,000 stack into the middle. England came over the top giving them isolation after the Li and Kukowski mucked their hands.

Anderson Sniffs Out Vangs Bluff

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
Jessica Anderson
Jessica Anderson

Jessica Anderson raised from middle position and then called a three-bet MSPT Hall of Famer Kou Vang made from the small blind.

The flop came {9-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} and with 30,000 already in the middle, Vang made a 9,000 continuation bet.

Anderson called, and the {7-Hearts} turn was checked by both players to the {7-Clubs} river.

Vang quickly moved all-in for 30,000 and Anderson called after getting a confirmed amount.

Vang rolled over {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for a missed Broadway draw while Anderson showed {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} to win the pot and send Vang to the re-buy desk.

Havlish Fills Up to Double Through Regan

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Max Havlish
Max Havlish

There was heads-up action between Max Havlish from under the gun and Russ Regan from the cutoff after a {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop.

Havlish check-jammed for 11,700 after Regan fired out 1,000 and Regan called.

Max Havlish: {2-Spades}{2-Clubs}
Russ Regan: {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

Havlish flopped a set of deuces but didn't like seeing Regan already held the flush.

The {k-Hearts} turn didn't improve Havlish, but the {a-Diamonds} river did, as it paired the board to improve his hand to full house and secured his double-up.

Wazwaz Benefits from Quads Twice Against Liu

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Rob Wazwaz
Rob Wazwaz

MSPT Hall of Famer Rob Wazwaz is off to quit the hot start hitting quads twice in the same level against another Minnesota legend Peixin Liu.

Wazwaz's first double-up from Lui came on a {2-}{2-}{a-}{a-}{x-} board with the money getting in the middle after the turn.
Wazwaz held {2-}{2-} and Liu held {a-}{k-}, getting Wazwaz back to a starting stack.

Shortly after, the two would tussle once again with chips getting into the middle on a {2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{j-Diamonds} board.

Peixin Liu: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Rob Wazwaz: {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}

Liu was left drawing dead after Wazwaz flopped a set of threes and the dealer dropped the case {3-Clubs} on the river giving Wazwaz quads once again against Liu.

Just like the yesterday's starting flight, cards will be in the air at Noon local time and players will start with a stack of 25,000.

Late registration/re-entries will remain available until the start of Level 13 and players are allowed unlimited re-entries until that point.

As for the happenings on the first two days, Day 1b saw Terence Reid bag the chip lead thus far with 653,000, as he's the only player north of 600k while Sandeep Cherukuri (580,000), Matt Wolff (506,000), and Kirby Rogers (506,000) are the only other players that eclipsed the 500k mark.

So far, a little less than half of the 71 players currently on the Day 2 bagged north of the chip average and one last group of players will try to add their names to the list today.
