Wazwaz Benefits from Quads Twice Against Liu

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Rob Wazwaz
Rob Wazwaz

MSPT Hall of Famer Rob Wazwaz is off to quit the hot start hitting quads twice in the same level against another Minnesota legend Peixin Liu.

Wazwaz's first double-up from Lui came on a {2-}{2-}{a-}{a-}{x-} board with the money getting in the middle after the turn.
Wazwaz held {2-}{2-} and Liu held {a-}{k-}, getting Wazwaz back to a starting stack.

Shortly after, the two would tussle once again with chips getting into the middle on a {2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{j-Diamonds} board.

Peixin Liu: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Rob Wazwaz: {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}

Liu was left drawing dead after Wazwaz flopped a set of threes and the dealer dropped the case {3-Clubs} on the river giving Wazwaz quads once again against Liu.

Queens Hold Strong for Eidem

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Paul Eidem
Paul Eidem

There was all in action after a {4-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop between Paul Eidem from the hijack and Carl Carodenuto from the cutoff.

Paul Eidem: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Carodenuto: {a-Clubs}{6-Spades}

Eidem was ahead with his made hand of queens and even though the {6-Hearts} turn paired Carodenuto, it was enough to seal him the pot as the {9-Diamonds} river secured Eidem his double for 32,600.

Anderson Sets Up a Double

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante
Blake Anderson
Blake Anderson

There was heads-up action between Blake Anderson from middle position and the button with a {9-Clubs}{2-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds} board showing.

With 14,500 already in the middle, Anderson led out for 8,000 and his opponent called bringing the {k-Spades} river.

Anderson check-called his opponents all in, and the two players tabled their hands.

Anderson rolled over {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for a set of nines and it was good as his opponent tossed {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} into the muck.
