Wheeler Dropped by Kolness

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Alex Wheeler
Alex Wheeler

Action folded around to Alex Wheeler who raised all in for 102,000 on the button and Tyler Kolness looked him up from the big blind.

Alex Wheeler: {a-Spades}{2-Diamonds}
Tyler Kolness: {j-Spades}{10-Hearts}

Wheeler was ahead until the {5-Spades}{j-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop hit the felt giving Kolness top two-pair.

The {9-Hearts} turn was no help to Wheeler as it left him drawing dead to the {9-Spades} river and he was eliminated in 24th place for $3,962.

Madsen Loses Big Race Against Howard

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Steven Madsen
Steven Madsen

Action on the table folded around to Steven Madsen who raised all in for roughly 155,000 and Taylor Howard isolated from the small blind.

Steven Madsen: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Taylor Howard: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

Madsen was behind holding two overs and the {2-Hearts}{3-Spades}{a-Hearts} flop gave him more outs with the nut flush draw.

Unfortunately for him, both the {9-Diamonds} turn and {10-Spades} river were bricks, ending his tournament in 26th place for $3,447.
