Massey Slips

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

On a board of {5-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{3-Spades}{9-Diamonds}, Ralph Massey bet 3,000 from the small blind and was raised to 6,500 from a player in middle position. Allen Kessler folded from the lojack and another player folded on the button. Massey called.

The {j-Diamonds} completed the board and both players checked. Massey showed {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}, but it was no good against the {5-Clubs}{5-Spades} of his opponent for a set.

Kathy Liebert

A player in middle position opened to 1,500 and was called by a player in the lojack and Kathy Liebert in the big blind.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Liebert checked to the initial raiser, who continued for 2,200. Action folded back to Liebert, who then check-raised to 7,200. Her opponent quickly folded and Liebert scooped the pot.

Cristos Doubles

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante
Jordan Cristos
Jordan Cristos

Jordan Cristos open-shoved for 39,000 from early position and action folded to the button, who called. Everyone else folded and hands were revealed.

Cristos: {2-Spades}{2-Hearts}
Button: {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}

The {a-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{9-Clubs} flop vaulted Cristos' opponent into the lead and the {9-Diamonds} turn left Cristos drawing to two outs.

...but the {2-Diamonds} came in for Cristos on the river and he doubled through with a full house.

"Oh my God you deserved to lose that hand!" Cristos said.

Stout Out; Back in

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

In what appeared to be a three-bet pot, Matt Stout bet 4,500 from the small blind on a {a-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{k-Spades} flop against a lone opponent in the cutoff, who then raised to 10,000. Stout went all in for about 34,000 and his opponent called after tanking for some time to put Stout at risk.

Stout: {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Cutoff: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

Stout was in good shape to double up, but the {k-Hearts} turn left Stout drawing to an ace.

It wasn't meant to be, as the {q-Diamonds} completed the board, eliminating Stout from contention.

Stout has since re-entered and was seen sitting down at another table with a fresh stack.

Same Hand For Le

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

A player opened to 2,500 in early position and was three-bet to 6,700 from the player in the lojack.

Action folded to Tuan Le in the big blind, who four-bet shoved for about 24,000. The initial raiser folded, but the lojack called.

Lojack: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Le: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Both players held pocket tens and the {5-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{3-Diamonds} runout didn't contain any flush shenanigans, so Le and his opponent chopped up the pot.

Vampan Lays on The Aggression

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

In what appeared to be a three-bet pot, Daniel Vampan bet 4,400 from the small blind on a {10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop. His lone opponent on the button called.

The {k-Diamonds} came on the turn and Vampan cut out a bet to 12,900 and fired it into the middle, sending his opponent into the tank. He eventually let his hand go and Vampan rapped the table before scooping the pot.
