Passanante Increases the Lead
Level 38
: Blinds 750,000/1,500,000, 750,000 ante
Jared Passanante opened to 3,300,000 on the button with K♣9♠, and Lucas Rea defended his big blind holding J♠6♣.
Both players checked through the 3♣4♦7♦ flop, and Rae led out for 3,500,000 on the 9♥ turn. Passanante took some time after making a pair, sliding out a raise to 11,200,000.
That produced a quick fold from Rae, as Passanante increased his chip lead.
