"That's a quick turn around, you were the short stack not long ago," a player remarked over on table 14.

What happened? Charlie Hawes had just sent Tu Tran to the rail. The cards were on the backs already with Tran in dominated fashion as his {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} was up against Hawes's {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}.

The board came {6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and Hawes secured the knockout.

The river completed the board with the {6-Spades} for both players to check and Stojanovski to claim the pot with {a-}{x-}.

Also no longer featured on the same table is Didier Guerin, who had last been spotted with around 10 big blinds.

Young Among Big Stacks; Vukovic Down

On the river of a board {k-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}, Mark Yazbeck bet 12,000 into a pot of 16,000 and forced a fold to claim the pot without resistance.

Gary Benson also added further chips to his stack when Shivan Abdine check-folded the {j-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{5-Hearts} river to a bet of 10,000.

Mladen Vukovic won a pot, however, he had previously lost half of his stack to Rory Young who now tops the leader board. In the recent hand, Young folded the {8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop to a bet of Vukovic and one cold-call. The {a-Clubs} turn was checked and Vukovic bet the {4-Spades} river for 5,000 to force out the third player in the hand.

Pritchard Doubles Through Amiri

Ehsan Amiri raised to 2,600 from mid-position and was Jason Pritchard defended his big blind.

The flop came {7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}, Pritchard bet and Amiri called to see the {9-Diamonds} fall on the turn. Pritchard shoved and Amiri called with {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} for the flopped top pair but was behind against the {k-Spades}{9-Clubs} of Pritchard who had turned two pair.

The river completed the board with the {4-Clubs} for Pritchard to double up.

Shortly after, Jason Gray joined the table.

Vincent Huang raised to 2,400 from under the gun and was called by Terence A Clee in the hijack. Joe Snell shoved from the big blind for 16,800 in total and Huang decided to also shove for the 25,000 he had behind. Clee contemplated his options for a while and then decided to make the call.

The river completed the board with the {6-Spades} for Snell's tournament life to be over for now and for Huang to earn a full double-up through Clee.
