Nguyen Takes From Gupta

Level 13 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

On the river of a board {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}, Minh Nguyen in the small blind check-called a bet of 18,000 by Ashish Gupta in early position and was shown the {j-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for a busted gutshot and jack-nine high by Gupta. Nguyen had that beat with {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and dragged in the pot.

Nguyen then raised to 10,000 and Rehman Kassam jammed for 133,500 from one seat over. No call followed and Kassam added some big blinds to his stack.

Gray Doubles Through Kempson

Level 13 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Having defended his big blind against Corey Kempson, Jason Gray ended up all in for 75,000 on the {10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop and Kempson looked him up with both players turning over top pair in the showdown.

Jason Gray: {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Corey Kempson: {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}

The {k-Spades} turn and {4-Clubs} river ensured that the kicker played in favor of Gray and both stack sizes were nearly even after all was done and dusted.

Saab Hits Quads

Level 13 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

The board read {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} with 47,500 in the middle already.

Majid Saab shoved from the big blind for 63,000 and Jarrod Thatcher was contemplating his option from the cutoff for a while. After counting out calling chips and taking a bit more time, Thatcher called but mucked when Saab tabled {j-Clubs}{10-Spades} for quad jacks.

More for Zmukic and Vukovic

Level 13 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

On the heads-up turn of {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}, Mladen Vukovic bet 30,000 and Andrej Senic jammed. The bet of Vukovic was pulled in and Senic was at risk for another 62,000 on top, which proved to be too much for Vukovic.

Over on the other outer table, Vesko Zmukic added more chips to his stack when he got value from his {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} on a board of {a-Spades}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{5-Clubs} to take a chunk out of Ebon Bokody's stack.

Travis Endersby jammed the cutoff for 11,000 with the {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and Jake Mehmet called from the big blind with the {q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}.

"I'll take a chop," Endersby joked on the {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop and the {2-Spades} turn was a blank.

"I'll take the four," Mehmet replied and sure enough binked the {4-Clubs} on the river to send Endersby to the rail.

Soon after, the next all in showdown took place on table 14 and it was Charlie Hawes at risk for 104,000 against Nauvneel Kashyap.

Charlie Hawes: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Nauvneel Kashyap: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}

The {4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}{5-Spades}{j-Clubs} run out gave Hawes a straight to secure the double.
