Vincent Huang
Vincent Huang

Vincent Huang raised to 6,000 from the cutoff and Majid Saab defended his big blind.

The flop came {4-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}, Saab check-called the 6,000 continuation-bet of Huang.

The turn brought them the {8-Diamonds}, Saab checked again. Huang fired a bet of 12,000 over the line and that was enough for Saab to let his hand go.

Vukovic Doubles; Chops After

Level 11 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Mladen Vukovic was all in for 39,000 with the {a-Hearts}{a-Spades} and Tom Rafferty looked him up with the {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}. The board came {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Vukovic doubled.

He was then all in for 85,500 with {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} against the {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} of Andrian Chin, who almost got there with running hearts on a {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{k-Spades} board.

In the meanwhile, Nurlan Boobekov lost the remainder of his short stack on the other table and departed, which reduced the field to the last 24 hopefuls.

Premium Hands No Good for Godena

Level 11 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Jarryd Godena
Jarryd Godena

Tolly Sakellariou three-bet jammed for 49,000 and initial raiser Jarryd Godena snap-called with the {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}. Sakellariou was in trouble with the {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs} but got there on a board of {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Spades}{8-Spades}{q-Diamonds} thanks to the straight on the river.

Godena's stack was cut into half and he then jammed with ace-king into the pocket kings of Jason Gray to bow out.

Wang Busts in Two Hands

Level 11 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Blind-on-blind, David Wang jammed into Jarryd Godena and was in rough shape with {q-Clubs}{7-Clubs} as Godena tabled {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}.

The board came {k-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Wang was left with 3,200. One hand later, Minh Nguyen raised to 6,000 and Wang called all in from the button, Jason Gray came along out of the big blind.

The two remaining active players checked the {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} flop and Gray bet the {6-Hearts} turn for 10,000, Nguyen folded.

Wang was at risk with the {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades} while Gray held {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, and the kicker played on the {2-Clubs} river to reduce the field to the last 27.

Boobekov Busts One

Level 10 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Nurlan Boobekov sent a short stack to the rail when his {a-Hearts}{4-Spades} struck gold with top pair on the {6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{a-Clubs} river, as the cards of the player at risk were already in the muck.

Corey Kempson added more chips to his growing tower and Boobekov then lost some of his chips to Rehman Kassam. There are 29 players remaining and just 15 of them will take home a portion of the prize pool.
