Trevor Godfrey started the day second in chips and lost around half of his stack in the first 90 minutes. Things got even worse, as the seat that formerly belonged to him was now empty and Yisi Zhang had boosted his stack. Haoran Zhang and his namesake provided the details as to what happened.
In a three-bet pot, Godfrey bet the jack-high flop with two clubs and bet again a 
turn for 30,000, [Yisi] Zhang raised to 60,000 and Godfrey called. On a blank river, Godfrey jammed with king-jack and a club to pick up a call by kings for the overpair.
