Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Anastasia Tyulyakova
Anastasia Tyulyakova

Jason Pritchard had dropped down even further in chips while Corey Kempson added more piles to his growing tower. Pritchard then bounced back when he clashed with Anastasia Tyulyakova as both tabled two premium pairs in showdown.

Anastasia Tyulyakova: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Jason Pritchard: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}

The board came {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{7-Spades} and that spelled the end for Tyulyakova.

"Unlucky Anastasia," another player at the table said and she left with the words "it's okay."

Wakeman Vanishes; Angelakis Thrives

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

The seat of Matthew Wakeman was empty and Con Angelakis was busy trying to rake in a pile of yellow T-5,000 chips. Will Davies was kind enough to provide the details as to what happened.

According to Davies, Angelakis had raised to 10,000 on button and picked up two callers in Wakeman out of the small blind and Chad Awerbuch in the big blind. Wakeman bet the {6-}{5-}{4-} with one heart for 9,000 and Awerbuch folded, Angelakis raised to 25,000 and was called. On the {6-Hearts} turn, Wakeman led for 28,000 and Angelakis called to then face a jam for 135,000 on the {j-Spades} river.

Angelakis tank-called with queens and Wakeman showed {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} to join the rail.
