Sass Triples Up

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Phil Gruissem opened to 3,800 from under-the-gun and Alan Sass moved all-in for 2,600 one seat over. Tim Adams checked from the big blind bringing a {10-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{6-Spades} flop. Adams and Gruissem checked down a {4-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} run out and Sass tabled {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and won the main pot with a pair of tens.

Adams tabled jack high and Gruissem had already mucked his hand forgetting about the side pot. "Oh man. I fucked up," said Gruissem. "Of course I had you beat," Gruissem directed towards Adams. Gruissem's tablemates chuckled as Adams and Sass gathered their chips.
