Peter Jetten Eliminated in 4th Place (HK$6,300,000); Mikita Badziakouski Eliminated in 5th Place (HK$4,620,000)

Kenneth Kee set a trap, limping {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades} under the gun but it didn't matter as the dealer already dealt a cooler. Mikita Badziakouski peeled {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} in the next seat and he raised to 400,000, committing almost half of his stack. Peter Jetten looked down at {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} in the hijack and he jammed for 2,205,000. Kee reshoved and Badziakouski called off for his 935,000 to allow a three-way showdown.

Kee had a chance to provide a double knockout but the {6-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{9-Clubs} gave both of his opponents flush draw. Kee needed to dodge club cards and he was able to do so on the {8-Hearts} turn and {8-Spades} river.

Kee scooped the large pot to solidify his stack, vaulting to 7.1 million. Mikita Badziakouski entered the hand with a shorter stack than Jetten so he took the HK$4,620,000 fifth-place prize while Jetten walked away with a HK$6,300,000 payout.

Ivan Leow Eliminated in 6th Place (HK$3,540,000)

Level 14 : 0/0, 25,000 ante
Ivan Leow
Ivan Leow

Richard Yong limped in with {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Kenneth Kee limped in with {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. Ivan Leow moved in with {K-Spades}{Q-Spades} for 580,000. Yong folded but Kee called after giving it some thought and it was off to the races.

The flop was {J-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts} which gave a sweat to both players with straight draws for each. The turn was the {K-Clubs} and that put Leow in the lead with a pair of kinds, but Kee picked up both flush and straight draws. The river was the {7-Hearts} and that gave Kee the straight, eliminating Leow from the tournament.

Kee took down the pot and moved to four million in chips while Leow will take home HK$3,540,000 for his sixth-place finish.

Yong Reclaims the Chip Lead

Level 14 : 0/0, 25,000 ante

Mikita Badziakouski called under the gun, Cary Katz overlimped with {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} in the hijack before Richard Yong raised to 235,000 out of the cutoff with {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. Only Katz called and they both hit the middle pair on {10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}. The action was checked and Katz spiked a big draw on the {8-Hearts} turn. He fired 300,000 and Yong called.

The {6-Clubs} bricked Katz' outs and both players tapped the felt. Yong showed a better kicker to his two pair and took over the chip lead.

Jetten Makes a Backdoor Straight

Level 14 : 0/0, 25,000 ante

In a limped pot, Richard Yong fired 50,000 on the {8-Spades}{A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}, having flopped the middle set with {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}. Peter Jetten was on the button, holding {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and he called.

Jetten called another 150,000 when the {10-Hearts} landed and he rivered a backdoor straight on the {Q-Spades} river which was quickly checked by both players. Jetten claimed the pot and improved to 2.7 million in chips.

Peter Jetten
Peter Jetten

Peter Jetten moved all in for 940,000 with {K-Spades}{Q-Spades} and action folded to Richard Yong who called with {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. Everyone else folded and it was on to a showdown.

The board ran {9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} so Jetten would double up with king-high to over two million while leaving Yong with about five million.

Kee Avoids a Bad Beat After Rivering a Straight

Level 14 : 0/0, 25,000 ante
Kenneth Kee
Kenneth Kee

Kenneth Kee limped in the second position with {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} and Mikita Badziakouski peeled {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} in the next seat. He made it 500,000 but Kee fired back with a limp-shove.

"Ay ay, count please," Badziakouski said with a sad tone in his voice.

It was 1,785,000 and Badziakouski pressed the call button.

Badziakouski hit a good flop of {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} but Kee could still get back ahead should he hit a king or a ten. The {6-Hearts} turn didn't help him but the {10-Hearts} river came to Kee's rescue and he scored a big double up, vaulting to 3.7 million in chips.

Bingo Flop for Katz Shortly Before Break

Level 13 : 0/0, 20,000 ante

Cary Katz limped, Kenneth Kee and Mikita Badziakouski both overlimped and Ivan Leow made it 125,000 in the cutoff. Peter Jetten called on the button and Katz called as well.

They continued three-way to the {10-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{8-Hearts} flop where Katz hit the nuts with {J-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. He checked to Leow who bet 275,000 with {Q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. Jetten released his hand and Katz countered, raising all in. Leow tanked for 90 seconds but eventually found a way to escape, folding.

After the hand played out, the remaining players went on a short break.

Andrew Robl Bubbles the HK$1,000,000 Triton Hold'em Event

Level 13 : 0/0, 20,000 ante
Andrew Robl
Andrew Robl

Ivan Leow limped with king-ten and Andrew Robl peeled {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} in the hijack. He shoved for 795,000 but unfortunately for him, Richard Yong looked down at stronger ace on the button. He reshoved with {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} and Robl's tournament life was at risk.

Robl found no help on the {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} board and walked away in seventh place, leaving empty-handed while the other six players have all secured at least $451,000.
