Ivey Takes Care of Chan

Level 7 : 0/0, 5,000 ante

Under the gun, Phil Ivey checked on the {7-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{K-Hearts} flop and Chan Wai Leong fired 30,000 in the cutoff. Paul Phua called on the button and Ivey check-shoved for 420,000. Chan called for about 330,000 total and Phua let his hand go.

Chan: {K-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Ivey: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}

The {A-Diamonds} left Chan drawing dead and Ivey raked in the pot, eliminating his opponent.

His left-hand opponent Chan Wai Leong also tapped the felt and Xuan Tan fired 230,000 from the cutoff. Both Jetten and Chan released their hands and Tan scooped the sizeable pot to improve his stack to 1.7 million or so.

Level 7 : 0/0, 5,000 ante
Wai Kin Yong
Wai Kin Yong

After a limp from Marius Torbergsen holding {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs}, Wai Kin Yong raised to 45,000 with {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}. Phil Ivey was on the button with {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} and he raised to 200,000. Wai Kin Yong moved all in for 1,318,000 and Ivey called, putting himself at risk for about 775,000.

The board ran out {Q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{K-Spades}{10-Clubs} and Yong hit a one outer, as Torbergsen was holding the other queen, to make a full house and earn the pot. Ivey was eliminated from the tournament, giving Yong a massive stack of over 2 million chips.

"See ya," Ivey said on his way out.

Badziakouski Check-Raises the Turn

Level 7 : 0/0, 5,000 ante

In a limped pot, Mikita Badziakouski, Gabe Patgorski and Alan Sass made it to the {8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{10-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} turn. Badziakouski checked, Patgorski fired 25,000 and Sass called on the button. Badziakouski, however, countered with a check-raise to 140,000, earning a call from Patgorski. Sass got out of the way.

The {6-Clubs} river was checked by both players and Badziakouski flashed what looked like a missed straight draw. Patgorski turned up {10-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and raked in the pot.

Massive Double For Leow Through Lamb

Level 7 : 0/0, 5,000 ante
Ivan Leow
Ivan Leow

After a limp from Jason Koon with {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}, Ivan Leow moved all in holding {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for 412,000. Ben Lamb woke up behind with {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and everyone else folded, leaving the two heads up for a monster pot.

The flop came out {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Hearts} giving Leow the lead with two pair. The turn was the {8-Diamonds} changing nothing and the river was the {10-Diamonds} filling Leow up to a boat. With that he doubled up to over 800,000 while Lamb was left with just 23,000.
