Ivey Takes the Pot With a Mystery Card

Xuan Tan opened with a raise to 12,000 with {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}and he was called by Phil Ivey whose only card showing was the {6-Diamonds}.

The flop was {Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and Ivey checked to Tan. Tan put out a bet of 12,000 and Ivey called.

On the {5-Diamonds} turn, Ivey checked again. Tan checked it back this time.

The river was the {J-Clubs} and Ivey led out with a bet of 40,000. Tan folded and Ivey took down the pot with his mystery card.

Phua Gets a Double

Paul Phua was all in from the big blind, racing for his last 95,000. Chan Wai Leong looked him up from the button and he was slightly ahead with {A-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} against Phua's {K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}. The board, however, gave Phua the winner as the dealer spread out {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{10-Clubs} to the middle of the table.

Peters Rivers Broadway

Winfred Yu, Cary Katz and David Peters all checked the {K-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts} turn and the {J-Spades} completed the board. Yu and Katz checked again but Peters fired 47,000 in position. Yu instantly folded but Katz burned a time extension chip before tossing in calling chips. Peters showed him the {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} in return and Katz sighed as he couldn't beat the rivered Broadway.

Tan Squeezes and Bluffs His Way to Another Pot

Peter Jetten opened under the gun with a raise to 11,000. Stephen Chidwick called on the button with {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. Xuan Tan raised in the small blind to 43,500 with {A-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. Action folded back to Chidwick, who called.

The flop came down {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Tan decided to lead with a bet of 40,000. Chidwick released and Tan took another pot.

Chan Gets the Rest of Cao's Chips

Rui Cao and Chan Wai Leong got their money in with Chan holding {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} while Cao had the overs with {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}. Cao was unable to connect to the king-high board and Chan amassed all of his chips, eliminating him in the last level of the day.

Jason Koon opened with a raise from the cutoff to 10,000 with {K-Hearts}{3-Hearts}. In the small blind, Sam Greenwood raised, making it 40,000 with {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}. Action folded back to Koon who called.

The flop was {9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Greenwood checked. Jason Koon put out a bet of 30,000. Greenwood then check-raised to 85,000 and that would earn him the pot as Koon quickly folded.

Cao Caught Bluffing

With action picked up on the river of the {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} board, three players made it to the last betting round with around 120,000 in the middle. Chan Wai Leong checked in the big blind and Rui Cao fired 82,000 in the hijack. Patrik Antonius thought for a moment and then he laid his hand down. Chan paused and then placed in the calling chips. Cao mucked his hand and Chan didn't need to show his hand to be able to rake in the sizeable pot.

Stanley Choi made it 7,000 in the hijack and Dominik Nitsche defended his big blind with a call. Nitsche let Choi fire 7,000 on the {8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop and then he check-raised to 25,000. Choi called.

The {J-Clubs} turn saw both players check and Nitsche tapped the felt again on the {A-Spades} river. Choi threw in a 37,000-bet and Nitsche folded his cards, saying: "Two pair is good."

Tan Makes a Monster Laydown

There was 36,000 in the pot on a flop of {10-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs} and action checked to Peter Jetten in the hijack seat who put out a bet of 18,000. Gabe Patgorski folded while Xuan Tan called from the big blind.

The turn was the {10-Hearts} and now Tan led out, betting 33,000. Jetten raised to 120,000 and Tan dropped into the tank. He used multiple time banks before he folded. Jetten took down the pot and moved over 700,000 chips.

From the stream, Jetten was holding {4-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Tan had a ten in his hand, with the {10-Clubs} but a mystery second card.
