Shakerchi Collects from Koon

The turned board showed {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and the pot was around 135,000. Jason Koon checked to Talal Shakerchi, he bet 75,000 and Koon called.

A {k-Clubs} completed the board and Koon checked again. Shakerchi swiftly moved all in for 110,000 and Koon called. Shakerchi tabled {k-Spades}{j-Clubs} for three kings, Koon mucked {a-}{q-} and Shakerchi took down the pot for a complete double.

Randy Lew raised to 11,000 from the cutoff with {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}, and Erik Seidel defended his big blind with {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}.

The flop fell {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}, and Seidel check-called a 10,000 bet from Lew.

The {9-Hearts} hit the turn, and both players checked before the {5-Clubs} was revealed on the river.

After the river action went check-check, both players showed their ace high, with Lew's kicker taking the pot.

Seidel Spikes an Eight

Level 8 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Erik Seidel raised to 11,000 from under the fun with {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Alex Foxen three-bet to 33,000 in the cutoff, holding {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}. Seidel called and the dealer fanned out {10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} on the flop.

Seidel checked to Foxen, he bet 29,000 and Seidel called. An {8-Clubs} came on the turn, nailing the straight for Seidel who now had the lead. Seidel check-called a bet of 58,000 and the {2-Clubs} completed the board.

Seidal against checked and again Foxen pushed in a bet, this time for 86,500. Seidel check-raised all in for 239,000 and Foxen let his hand go, sending the pot to Seidel.
