Badziakouski Fighting Back

Level 17 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Mikita Badziakouski moved all in for 130,000 from the cutoff and Sosia Jiang called in the big blind, players turned over their hands.

Mikita Badziakouski: {k-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Sosia Jiang: {k-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}

A flop of {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs} hit the felt and the pot was looking to most likely be a split. The {4-Spades} turn card changed that as Badziakouski moved into a prime position to double with his pair of fours. The {2-Hearts} brick on the river secured Badziakouski the double with his pair of sailboats.

Wai Kin Yong
Wai Kin Yong

Timothy Adams opened to 85,000 from early position, Timofey Kuznetsov three-bet to 245,000 in the hijack and Wai Kin Yong shoved all in for 1,090,000. Action folded to Kuznetsov who called for his remaining 1,065,000 and the two turned over their hands.

Timofey Kuznetsov: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Wai Kin Yong: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

The flop rolled out {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Yong was still in the lead with his dimes. A {6-Spades} landed on the turn, giving Kuznetsov some added outs as he picked up a flush draw but the {7-Diamonds} river was not one of them. Yong scooped in the pot, eliminating Kuznetsov from the tournament.

Luc Greenwood Misses Outs to Bust

Level 17 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Luc Greenwood moved all in for 355,000 from middle position, and Matthias Eibinger called in the hijack.

Luc Greenwood: {10-Spades}{9-Spades}
Matthias Eibinger: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

"Okay, I have live cards," said Greenwood.

The flop fell {q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}, and both players hit a pair with Eibinger holding onto his preflop advantage.

The {7-Spades} on the turn dramatically increased Greenwood's outs with the flush draw, but the {2-Diamonds} river card was a complete brick for the Canadian.

Greenwood departs to leave his brother Sam in the event, with Eibinger moving up to 1.8million.
