Greenwood Lays Down Queens

Level 3 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Nick Petrangelo raised to 9,500 from the cutoff with {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}, Sam Greenwood three-bet to 63,000 from the big blind with {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}, Petrangelo four-bet to 160,000 with the blades and Greenwood called to see a flop.

On the {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop, Greenwood checked, Petrangelo bet 75,000, and Greenwood called. The turn brought the {6-Clubs} and Greenwood checked. Petrangelo now bet 275,000 and Greenwood burned through several time extensions before folding.

Kabrhel Wins Without Showdown

Level 3 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

On the turn, the board read {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and Justin Bonomo checked from middle position. Dan Smith bet 58,000 in the hijack, Martin Kabrhel called from the cutoff, and Bonomo called as well.

The river was the {10-Diamonds} and Bonomo and Smith checked to Kabrhel, who bet 266,500. Bonomo folded quickly, but Smith stood up to get a better look at Kabrhel's stack. He then pondered for a short bit before folding as well to leave the pot to the Czech.

Leow Catapults Over Starting Stack

Level 3 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

The flop showed {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and there was around 30,000 in the pot. Ivan Leow checked to Benjamin Wu who pushed in a bet of 15,000 and then check-raised to 65,000.

Wu called and the {5-Diamonds} landed as a turn card. Leow pushed in 62,000, Wu called and the {6-Spades} completed the board. Leow reached for chips and fired in a pot-sized bet of 250,000.

Wu used two of his time extension cards before he ultimately called the bet. Leow tabled {10-Hearts}{6-Spades} for a full house and Wu chucked his cards into the muck, sending the pot to the soaring Leow.

'durrrr' Falls to Kuznetsov

Level 2 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Tom Dwan
Tom Dwan

Tom 'durrrr' Dwan raised to 9,000 in early position with {a-Spades}{j-Spades}, Timothy Adams called on the button with {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and Igor Kurganov called from the small blind with {2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}.

Timofey Kuznetsov glanced over Dwan's stack, who already had dropped quite a bit below the starting stack earlier, before three-betting to 52,500 with the {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}. Dwan called, Adams and Kurganov folded.

The flop came {q-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and Kuznetsov bet 40,000. Dwan used a time bank chip before raising to 132,000. Kuznetsov three-bet shoved and Dwan called it off for 382,000 total with the nut flush draw against Kuznetsov's top pair top kicker.

Neither the {3-Diamonds} turn nor {10-Diamonds} river brought the spade he needed and Dwan joined Salomon on the rail as the second elimination of the day.

Katz Takes Down Another Pot

Level 2 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Chin Wei Lim raised to 8,000 from middle position, Cary Katz called in the hijack and Haralabos Voulgaris defended his big blind. The dealer fanned out {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} on the flop and action checked to Lim who bet 10,000.

Both of his opponents called and the {8-Diamonds} fell as a turn card. All three players checked to the {9-Hearts} river card, action checked to Katz who threw in 3,000 and only Lim called. Katz tabled {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for two pair and Lim mucked, sending the pot to Katz.
